Eckert’s Millstadt Farm corn maze opens this weekend

Pick-your-own apples season has also just launched at the farm

While fall doesn’t technically start until Sept. 22, we’re already embracing all the autumnal vibes. Eckert’s Farm at 2719 Eckert Orchard Lane in Millstadt, Illinois, will open its corn maze this Saturday, Sept. 7.

The maze is a pretty neat design of a dog inspired by Stray Rescue of St. Louis, and the nonprofit will have adoptable puppies and dogs at the farm on Sept. 14. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales that day will benefit Stray Rescue.

“To say we are thrilled about our partnership with Eckert's this fall would be an understatement,” Stray Rescue of St. Louis CEO Cassady Caldwell said in a release. “To have our brave animals represented in their iconic corn maze this year is an honor. We hope our community plans a fun day at Eckert's and tours the maze to support the city’s injured, neglected, and betrayed animals.”

The corn maze will be open every Friday through Sunday until Oct. 27. Entrance to the maze is included with general admission tickets.

To further immerse yourself in autumn ambiance, you can also now pick your own apples at the Millstadt farm, and Eckert’s is running a buy-one-get-one on pounds of apples now through Sunday, Sept. 8. Field access passes are required to pick your own fruit.
