There are only 2 more Sauce Food Truck Fridays at Tower Grove Park this season
The second to last Sauce Food Truck Friday of the season will take place at Tower Grove Park from 3 to 7 p.m. (earlier than normal to accommodate the setting sun) on Friday, Sept. 22. Here are five of the trucks that will be at the park this week.
Go Gyro Go
With a simple but stellar menu full of gyros, you can expect their classic beef and lamb gyro, or marinated grilled chicken gyros with either tzatziki or tahini sauce. All gyros can be purchased on a pita or a bed of lettuce, and additional meat, sauce, feta, olives and more can be bought a la carte. Baklava will also be available for dessert.
Sando Shack
Known for Japanese-style sandwiches, Sando Shack will have both their regular chicken katsu sandwich, along with a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich. Teriyaki pork wings will also be available, and all entrees will be served with togarashi fries.
Takozz
With marinated steak, birria, chicken, pork al pastor, and chorizo for protein options, Takozz will be offering street tacos, quesabirria and quesadillas, with street corn, french fries, and grilled onions and jalapeños as sides. A cheese quesadilla will also be available as a vegetarian option, and churros will be sold for dessert.
The Moobile
Serving smash burgers made with locally raised beef, The Moobile will have a poutine burger, along with a double and triple smash burger. Both steak frites and tallow fries will also be served, along with fry gravy, and beignets for dessert.
The Sweet Side
For those who love dessert, The Sweet Side will be offering chocolate chip cookies and gooey butter cake, along with pumpkin rolls, cheesecake by the slice, brownie sundaes, apple crisp and macarons.
In addition to the food trucks, there will be plenty of beverages for sale, including frozen drinks from Narwhal’s Crafted, wine from Noboleis Vineyards, seltzers from Mighty Kind, along with beer from Schlafly and 4 Hands Brewing Co. Additionally, Tommy Holloran will be performing live music.
