Mac’s Local Eats has some of the best burgers in St. Louis
Sauce 75: the essential St. Louis restaurants right now
Locals who love burgers know that Mac’s has some of the best in town with its uber-thin smash patties and wide array of toppings. Having moved to several locations around the city since its launch in 2017, Mac’s seems to have settled in its current home near the south side of Forest Park. The double pimento cheeseburger is a solid selection, and you must pair it with a side of the Rip fries, which are coated with Old Vienna Red Hot Riplets seasoning. The classic burger is another great option, but Mac’s menu caters to a wide audience with a veggie burger, smash burger tacos and even – albeit only on Sundays – a doughnut burger.
