Taco Circus is popping up at Tamm Avenue Bar on Oct. 8

We’ve always loved Taco Circus, but it has had a tumultuous journey since it opened in South City in 2015, having bounced around at several locations in the St. Louis area over the years. Most recently, the Clayton location closed in January 2024, with chef-owner Christian Ethridge telling Sauce: “I haven’t given up on Taco Circus,” he said. “I feel like it has a future, but there are no set plans right now. We’ll see you next time.”

The future is now and Taco Circus will be hosting a pop-up from 5 to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, at Tamm Avenue Bar at 1227 Tamm Ave. In addition to many tacos and burritos available with about half a dozen protein options, they’ll also have sides such as chips and queso, rice, beans and ceviche served with Doritos. Una Vida tequila will have some drink specials that night as well. At 7 p.m., you can get in on some true crime trivia.

We can’t think of a better way to spend Taco Tuesday.
