This weekend is your last chance to enjoy Brass Burger at Urban Chestnut in Midtown

Gerard Craft’s iconic burger will still be available at CityPark for St. Louis City SC fans

If you haven’t checked out Brass Burger’s residency at Urban Chestnut Brewing Co.’s Midtown location at 3229 Washington Ave., time is running out. This Sunday, July 14, is your final chance to get your hands on one of those enduringly popular burgers, along with Brass Burger’s essential shoestring fries.

Operated by Gerard Craft’s Niche Food Group, Brass Burger has been well received at Urban Chestnut throughout its four-month run at Urban Chestnut, as it was during its prior five-year stint at Rockwell Beer Co. Niche has also used the residency to host a series of pop-ups for the group’s forthcoming Expat BBQ concept, which is slated to open at City Foundry STL in mid-August.

A statement posted on Urban Chestnut’s Instagram page acknowledging the end of the Brass Burger residency suggested that plans are afoot to launch a new menu at the UCBC Midtown location that will “keep the burger train rolling.” The statement also praised Brass Burger and the Niche team, saying “We can’t say enough good things about Gerard [Craft] and his incredible team at Niche Food Group. Honestly, we have learned so much from this outstanding organization and we can’t wait to see what they do next.”

At the time of publishing, there’s no news to report on what Brass Burger will do next. Niche is currently focused on gearing up for two major openings this summer, with the revival of Porano Pasta in Des Peres targeted for a July 29 launch, and the aforementioned Expat BBQ following in August. In the meantime, however, Brass Burger fans can seek out burger on match days at St. Louis City SC’s CityPark stadium. A statement on Brass Burger’s Instagram feed marking the end of the residency said, “We’ve loved every moment of the past four months, working alongside the Urban Chestnut team and serving up Brass Burger in the Midtown neighborhood.”
