Mission Taco Joint’s Town & Country location is now open

The ever-popular Mission Taco Joint opened its ninth location at 1000 Woods Mill Plaza in the Clayton Village Shopping Center in Town & Country on Monday, April 1. The eatery now has six St. Louis-area locations (the Central West End storefront is temporarily closed due to a fire), along with three in Kansas City.

The West Coast-inspired menu mirrors that of the other locations, with plenty of tacos, burritos, tortas and appetizers that locals have come to love. You can also expect the same cocktail list with delicious offerings such as the light and refreshing yet super boozy Zombie, plus margaritas, Palomas and more. Don't miss happy hour from 3 to 6 p.m. on weekdays with drink specials, as well as $5 food items.

“We’re pumped to continue growing in the city we love,” co-owner and CEO Adam Tilford said in a release. “We’ve been looking for a location in West County for a while and have always loved this area in Town & Country. There are a ton of local restaurants and a mix of singles and families living there, so we’re excited to offer a new place for everyone to chill and hang out over good food and drinks.”

The restaurant is spacious at 7,500 square feet with seating for about 160 guests, plus a private room with seating for an additional 72. Designed by Space Architecture + Design, this location’s ambiance closely resembles the other Mission Taco restaurants with plenty of bright colors and a mural by David Csaszar, a local spray paint artist.

The new Mission Taco Joint opens daily at 11 a.m., closing at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
