This week on The Sauce podcast, managing editor Liz Wolfson and executive editor Meera Nagarajan discuss burgers at newly opened Jovick Brothers Burgers, planning the menu for a very dairy dinner party, and all the reasons to love Platypus in the Grove.

The brothers Jovick, of Jovick Brothers Deli in Westport Plaza, have opened Jovick Brothers Burgers in Princeton Heights. There are burgers, chicken sandwiches, glizzies (aka hot dogs) and fried cheese curds — how could we resist?

Chef Brian Lagerstrom is a recipe master, demonstrated by his YouTube channel’s exploding popularity. Sauce is lucky to have several of his recipes in our database, like his Detroit-style sheet pan pizza and the little gem and Italian salads from Union Loafers Cafe and Bread Bakery, which Lagerstrom helped open. Meera will be making his sheet pan pizza as part of her Dairy Lovers dinner party, and it is sure to be a hit.
