Fire damages Three Kings Public House in Delmar Loop

A fire in the early hours of today, Wednesday, April 26, damaged the Delmar Loop location of Three Kings Public House at 6307 Delmar Blvd. Nobody was injured in the blaze, which is believed to have started in the restaurant’s kitchen at around 3 a.m.

KSDK reported that firefighters from several municipalities arrived on the scene to respond to the fire. The fire ripped through the building housing Three Kings, which is also home to Iron Age Tattoo and a number of apartments on an upper level. Smoke and flames were visible on the roof of the building. The exact cause of the fire has not been determined yet.

A statement from Three Kings Public House thanked the public for its support following news of the fire, and said the team was heartbroken. Three Kings offered sympathy to the owners and staff of Iron Age Tattoo, which also suffered damage, as well as expressing gratitude that the fire did not cause any injuries.

In the aftermath of the fire, the scope of any repairs to the restaurant is as yet unclear. However, the statement indicated Three Kings has the desire to remain in the neighborhood. “The Loop is our home, and we love it here,” the statement read. “Three Kings Public House will be back. We will be even better, and we will always be an active part of this amazing community in University City.”
