Streets of St. Charles continues to flourish, rolling out new concepts into the spring

St. Charles food and entertainment hub Streets of St. Charles, which features everything from Bar Louie and Prasino to Mission Taco Joint and P.F. Chang’s, is continuing its ascension to mall paradise into 2021, when it will see multiple new additions to the complex.

Most recently announced is the seventh location of popular St. Louis calzone and salad spot Sauce on the Side. “We are truly ecstatic to be expanding our business to Streets of St. Charles,” said franchisee Brian Slater in a press release. “We feel we’ll add great food, service and atmosphere to a very unique area that is already diverse in dining and shopping options.”

The new location aims to begin operations in the spring.

Loaded: Elevated Nachos, announced this past summer, will also open early next year at 1450 Beale St. #130. Developed by the owners of neighboring Narwahl’s Crafted, Brad Merten and Brandon Holzheuter, Loaded is a fast-casual concept offering “chef-quality nachos.”

The restaurant recently announced that Polite Society and the now-closed Demun Oyster Bar alum Dan Sammons would be stepping in as executive chef. “We are taking a thoughtful and chef-driven approach to nachos and want to take dishes and cuisines that are already universally known but transform to a nacho form. And the addition of chef Dan is going to help us create that product that will be worthy of the ‘elevated’ description,” a press release said.

Finally, the long-awaited third iteration in the popular Napoli chain Napoli III has officially opened in the complex. “We don’t pick a location lightly,” co-owner Kye Pietoso told Sauce back in July. “We love the diversity of offerings and the community [at The Streets of St. Charles].”

Reservations are required at Napoli III due to limited capacity. According to its website, the restaurant is open from Monday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to “close,” and will be serving an array of Italian classics like eggplant parmesan, pasta, chicken, veal, seafood, steak  and panini sandwiches.
