Poetry & Open Mic w/ Host Daniel Wright, Featuring Mack Thorn

Spine Bookstore & Café presents Indie Poetry hosted by Daniel W. Wright. This week our featured poet is Mack Thorn.

Mack Thorn is a poet/artist from St. Louis. He is the author of two collections of poetry, The Black Paintings (2019, Bad Jacket) and Fate of a Mullet (2020, Spartan Press). His work can be found in literary journals such as 365 Days, Alien Buddha, Cajan Mutt Press, as well as online journals like Rye Whiskey Review. He currently resides at the Osage Arts Community as a resident artist. If he is not writing poetry or music he can often be found eating chicken wings or collecting Jim Baker buckets.

After the featured poet, as per usual, we will be hosting an open mic for anyone who wants to read their own work. Doors at 6:00. Poetry begins at 7:00
