Bolyard’s Meat & Provisions in Maplewood nominated for USA Today Top Ten award

Bolyard’s was nominated in the reader-voted awards’ Best Butcher Shop category

Maplewood butcher Bolyard’s Meat & Provisions has been nominated for a Top Ten award by USA Today. Bolyard’s was nominated in the reader-voted awards’ Best Butcher Shop category, with results to be announced on Thursday, Sept. 12. 

USA Today’s shortlist for the Top Ten awards’ Best Butcher Shops includes 19 butchers from around the United States. The shortlist was selected by USA Today’s panel of food and travel journalists, with the final ten honorees to be decided by reader vote. Early voting results showed that Bolyard’s was running strongly in third place, although USA Today has now hidden the results as the competition enters the home stretch. Announcing the nomination, a statement from Bolyard’s said the store is “thrilled” to be included amidst “an extraordinary pool of talent.”
