Rick and Morty’s Rickmobile will be at Schlafly Tap Room in St. Louis on Aug. 8

The event in Downtown West will include screenings of a new episode and dishes inspired by the Adult Swim series

Schlafly Tap Room at 2100 Locust St. in Downtown West has a treat in store for Rick and Morty fans on Thursday, Aug. 8, as the Rickmobile rolls into St. Louis for a few hours. The Rickmobile will pull up at Schlafly for an evening including two Rick and Morty-themed dishes and screenings of the premiere of the Adult Swim show’s new series, Rick and Morty: The Anime.

The event will run from 7 to 11 p.m. The themed dishes – Pickle Rick fried pickles and Morty-O’s spaghetti – will be available inside the brewery. Of course, guests can also grab a beer inside, but the Schlafly draft van will also be in operation outside the venue, with a special Ricktoberfest beer offered in addition to Schlafly’s regularly rotated lineup of brews. A special cocktail will also be sold for the event, and two local food trucks are also slated to appear to round out the offerings.

The screenings of the new anime show – which debuts on Adult Swim on Aug. 15, then on Max on Aug. 16 – will begin at 8:30 p.m. and the episode will be repeated through the evening. For a sneak peek, watch the trailer

The Rickmobile’s St. Louis visit is part of a two-week, cross-country tour that began at the end of July in Henderson, Nevada, and reaches its destination with a stop in Atlanta on Aug. 15. The vehicle features a gigantic replica of one of the animated show’s eponmymous leads, Rick Sanchez, perched on a truck, so fans of Rick and Morty will be keen to take advantage of the photo ops as well as pick up exclusive Rick and Morty merch.
