Get out of the house and grab a drink and a bite at these summer Olympic watch parties

We’re in the midst of summer Olympics season with the Paris games running from July 26 through August 11. St. Louisans have plenty to celebrate – twelve local athletes are representing Team USA in several sports. It’s not too late to get up off the couch and join these events happening across town.

Olympics Watch Party at Downtown Summer Nights

The St. Louis Sports Commission, Greater St. Louis, Inc. and 5 On Your Side will host a special edition of the Downtown Summer Nights event series featuring primetime NBC coverage of the Paris games, interviews with St. Louis Olympians, and live broadcast updates from 5 On Your Side. Fans will also have a chance to enjoy happy hour offerings from local food and drink vendors, music by DJ Mahf, photo ops, and more. Admission is free.

Olympics Watch Party at The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch

Guests at the The Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch in Soulard can catch the games on their stadium-sized LED wall all day long for the entirety of the Olympics. Specials include a pizza and pitcher of Michelob Ultra for $25, an appetizer (your choice of pretzels, toasted ravioli, nacho bites, or spicy cheese curds) and a can of Michelob Ultra for $10, and a bucket of five Michelob Ultras for $15. On August 11, the final day of the games, guests will win a free can of Michelob Ultra per person if Team USA wins the most medals overall. The Biergarten is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Olympic Spirit Days at Bar K

Enjoy Olympic-themed festivities with your furry friends at Bar K with a different activation, theme, food and beverage special, or activity every day of the Olympics. Pups are invited to test their skills in the Doggie Olympics on Saturday, August 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. – all participants will receive a blue ribbon for being the best boys (and girls).
