Side Project Brewing in Maplewood launches summer concert series

Plus, complete tasks on the new summer passport to win free beer and more

Maplewood’s Side Project Brewing has just announced it will host live music on Friday evenings at its The Patio location at 2657 Lyle Ave. this summer.

The free concert series kicks off this Friday, July 12, featuring Joey Ferber and takes place from 6 to 8 p.m. every Friday through Aug. 2. The performance schedule includes Emily Wallace on July 19, Farshid Etniko on July 26 and Side Project Cellar bartender Ian Lubar on Aug. 2. Since Pizza Champ shares The Patio’s location, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a pint and a slice while supporting local musicians.

“We aim to be a gathering place where the folks in Maplewood and all St. Louisans can bring their families, drink our world-class brews, eat delicious food, and have a good time with loved ones while listening to live music,” co-owner Cory King said in a release.

In addition to the live music, Side Project has launched a summer passport offering guests a chance to win free beer and more. For any purchase made at any of Side Project’s three locations — which include The Brewery (starring a new food concept) and The Cellar as well as The Patio – guests will receive a passport with tasks such as “Enjoy a Charcuterie Board at The Cellar” and “Drink a Draft Nitro Beer at the Patio.” Anyone who completes three tasks will receive a free Side Project draft beer and be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card that can be used at any of the locations. This interactive experience runs through Aug. 31, so beer lovers will have plenty of time to get their drink on in the name of winning.

“We want to celebrate the community of Maplewood this season,” King said in a release. “Our summer passport will be a fun addition because it engages the Side Project community in an exciting way and encourages people to spend time here and visit not only our three locations but all of the other amazing businesses in the area.
