4 Oktoberfests to check out in the St. Louis area

We can't get enough of fall beer festivals. Here are four happening around St. Louis in October.

The Crafty Chameleon Brewery & Pizza Craftoberfest

The Crafty Chameleon Brewery’s annual Craftoberfest will feature more than 10 guest taps with Oktoberfest beers that include Toppling Goliath, Avery and Weihenstephaner, as well as their house-brewed Märzen. Enjoy authentic German food along with games of cornhole. All staff and guests are encouraged to wear lederhosen and dirndls. Free admission. 

Good News Brewing Co. Oktoberfest

Good News Brewing Co. is hosting its annual Oktoberfest at the Defiance location. Get ready to enjoy sauerkraut pizza, live music both days and a stein-holding contest hosted by the St. Paul Lutheran Church of New Melle at 2 p.m. each day. Friends of Aaron Bounds will be performing Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Ubercool Band will be performing Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Additionally, they will be serving Oktoberfest beer at all locations. Free admission. 

Soulard Oktoberfest

A portion of this event is free and includes live music, German food available for purchase, a wine garden and multiple beer stands. Want to upgrade your experience? Admission to the Budweiser Bier Hall Tent is $30 and includes exclusive entertainment, a Soulard Oktoberfest stein, giveaways, premium beer selections, a heated tent, a special food menu and a photo booth. Upgraded tickets available online. 

Rockwell Beer Co. Oktoberfest 
Saturday, Oct. 14 – Rockwell Beer Co., 1320 S. Vandeventer Ave., St. Louis; and Sunday, Oct. 15, Rockwell Beer Garden, 5300 Donovan Ave., Francis Park, St. Louis, rockwellbeer.com
Rockwell Beer Co. is hosting its annual Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday at the Grove location and Sunday at the Francis Park beer garden. Both days will be filled with German beer and food, live music and local vendors. Rockwell Beer Co. logoed mugs will be on sale at both locations. Free admission.
