The 10th annual Lupulin Carnival is back for another year at the Big Top at 3401 Washington Ave. in Midtown St. Louis. 4 Hands Brewing Co. has curated a selection of over 40 breweries from all over the country. The event is for those 21 and older and will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 14.

Breweries include local favorites such as Shared Brewing, 2nd Shift Brewing and Narrow Gauge Brewing Co. “There will also be a handful of Chicago breweries including Pipeworks, Revolution, Hopewell, Solemn Oath, Marz and Hop Butcher, along with breweries father out like Cinderlands Foederhouse from Pittsburgh and Finback Brewery from New York,” said Liz Swyers, 4 Hands marketing manager.

In addition to beer you can look forward to elevated carnival food. “Sugarfire [Smoke House] is our food partner this year, and the menu will include corn dogs, pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, nachos, soft pretzels, popcorn and more,” said Swyers.

Entertainment will be on theme with burlesque dancers, a fortune teller and fire dancers. Sally Marvel will be performing a variety of tricks, including sword swallowing and glass walking. “Lots of our talent is local from St. Louis and Chicago, and has been with us each and every year, and the Big Top is the perfect location,” Swyers said.

A full list of participating breweries and tickets are available online. VIP tickets have access to the event starting at noon. There will also be non-alcoholic beer options, including offerings from WellBeing Brewing.
