Drink this barleywine from Side Project Brewing
Barleywine – the hefty, high-ABV style of beer best suited to slow sipping – is the perfect candidate for collaboration between a bottle shop and a craft brewery. Look out this spring for an as-of-yet-unnamed collab from The Wine and Cheese Place and Side Project Brewing; the blend of barrel-aged and double barrel-aged, English-inspired barleywines will be finished on vanilla beans. Side Project also plans to release two other barleywines this spring: Anabasis, an American-style barleywine, as well as a blended, barrel-aged option to be finished on fresh ground cinnamon as well as vanilla.
