The Scoop: The revolving restaurant door in Clayton

Clayton is awhirl with restaurant ins and outs. Credit St. Louis Magazine’s George Mahe with a report of The Pasta House Co.’s short life on Central Avenue as well as news of a new tenant at 172 Carondelet Plaza. In late August, Kim Tucci and Joe Fresta, owners of The Pasta House Co., converted their Tucci & Fresta’s at 15 N. Central Ave., into another Pasta House Co. But Saturday marked the last day of service at that location. Mahe also reported that the former Luciano’s Trattoria space in Carondelet Plaza will become a churrascaria called Brazikat Brazilian Steak & Seafood House. The Brazilian steakhouse is slated to open in December. Finally, chef-owner Gerard Craft’s newest restaurant Pastaria is now open at 7734 Forsyth Blvd., inside Centene Plaza.
