SUGARFIRE CHEF MIKE JOHNSON JOINS “THE BBQ NINJA” AND JOHNNY MANESS FOR LIVE-FIRE DINNER TO BENEFIT HOGS FOR THE CAUSE

For one night only, owner and chef Mike Johnson of Sugarfire Smoke House and Hi-Pointe Drive-In will join Craig Verhage, “The BBQ Ninja,” of Ubons BBQ and Johnny Maness of Salt Lick BBQ for a coursed-dinner at The Skullery, located inside of BEAST Butcher & Block. Guests will be able to interact with the chefs and watch as they prepare the coursed-dinner on live-fire grills. The menu will showcase the trio’s take on elevated barbecue, shining light on chef Mike’s fine dining background. A 7 p.m. cocktail reception will start the evening, and the coursed dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $80 per person, including tax and gratuity, and guests can opt to add on the Perfect Pairing drink option for an additional $35. A portion of the events proceeds will be donated to Hogs for the Cause, which works with local hospitals to offer monetary relief to families with children with brain cancer.
