First Look: Clementine's Creamery in Lake Saint Louis

Though the Clementine’s Naughty & Nice Creamery empire has been steadily growing over the past few years, unveiling nationwide delivery and garnering mentions everywhere from Oprah Magazine’s The O List to Forbes, they had yet to put a brick-and-mortar outside of St. Louis city and county proper. That is, until today, Wednesday, July 1, when a fourth Clementine’s opened in Lake Saint Louis at 20 Meadows Circle Drive.

Much about the new scoop shop will be familiar, but a couple of updates have made this not only the biggest Clementine’s, but also the one with the most expansive menu. Sitting at 2,300 square feet, this location has an occupancy of 75, which is around twice as much as the DeMun location. Additionally, Clementine’s now has a cold brew tap with Belleville, Illinois, roaster Kaleidoscope Craft Brew Coffee; it’s served in the form of classic cold brew, nitro cold brew and draft lattes. Clementine’s still uses their signature roast from Edwardsville’s Goshen Coffee Co. for espressos and affogatos.

Another new feature is the outdoor seating options offered by The Meadows. In addition to tables and chairs in front of Clementine’s, patrons can can enjoy the space of a large courtyard that often has live music and also hosts the Lake St. Louis Farmers & Artists Market on Saturday mornings from 8 a.m. to noon.
