Brennan’s launches Booze & Snacks delivery service

In light of the ever-changing COVID-19 landscape, Central West End staple Brennan’s has launched a new delivery service called Brennan’s Booze & Snacks.

“When the [stay-at-home orders were announced] in March, we decided to go ahead and shut down a few days before required in the interest of public safety,” said Zach Gzehoviak, Brennan’s marketing manager. “When we realized this could be a longer shutdown than we initially thought, we started thinking about ways to take advantage of the inventory we already had.”

Items on offer on the new website include the typical wine, beer, spirits and cigars Brennan’s patrons are accustomed to, along with new snack options and gift boxes. Bottled cocktails, cocktail kits and a wine membership will also be available as soon as this coming weekend and no later than next week, according to Gzehoviak.

“Online orders come in specially curated gift boxes, so a lot of people have been sending them as presents,” Gzehoviak said. “We keep uploading new curated boxes with different products we have, but you can build a custom one too.”

Brennan’s has already had quite a bit of positive feedback on the service that launched late last week.

“It’s been great – our first weekend was a bit overwhelming but totally worth it,” Gzehoviak said. “If all goes well, we’re hoping to continue offering this cool, new service even after our bars reopen.”

Delivery is available from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Order prior to 4 p.m. for same-day delivery.

“In regard to the COVID-19 virus, Brennan’s Booze & Snacks is taking all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of its customers and staff. This means following all CDC guidelines, minimizing risk by limiting personnel and handling of items, and implementing a no-contact drop-off system for all deliveries,” according to a press release.
