Eat Sandwiches will close doors in Tower Grove South
“It is with a heavy heart and some reluctance that we have to announce the closing of Eat Sandwiches. Sales have not been where we need them to be. This will be our final weekend, and we would love to say goodbye if you’d like to come in. It’s been a good couple of years, and we’ve appreciated every customer.”
The restaurant opened doors in October 2016.
Co-owner Byron Smith said while it was the last full weekend of service, he will offer lunch this week, likely from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“We certainly won’t make it through to next weekend,” Smith said. “At this point, I’m wrapping things up at the shop. I’ll probably keep the doors open for a couple of days for lunch to get rid of some product and start the process of shutting it down.”
Smith said he has no immediate plans for a new project.
