“As soon as I crossed the Italian border my health and life seemed to be magically restored,” the playwright wrote of his first visit to Italy. Restoration, Romance, and Adventure highlight Tennessee Williams’s experience of a country that became his second home. Actors and friends of the Festival read selections from William’s poems, letters, journals, and plays.
