Indie Poetry at Spine Presents: Lesley Day Plus Open Mic

This week our featured poet is Lesley Day.
Lesley Day is the author of "Authenticity"; a raw collection of poetry that tells a story of the darkest tales, and the deepest thoughts. Of heart break and pain - of life and love. Lesley has had several poems published throughout the years in anthologies, but "Authenticity" is her fist full length publication.
Although poetry is her main passion, Lesley is also a writer of children's literature, fiction, non-fiction, articles, and the occasional blogging. Her topics include mental illness, grief, insomnia, mommyhood, the chaos of her mind and the passion of her soul.
After the featured poet, as per usual, we will be hosting an open mic for anyone who wants to read their own work. Doors at 6:00. Poetry begins at 7:00.
