Soulard Coffee Garden has closed permanently

Soulard Coffee Garden, the colorful café and garden that occupied the space at 910 Geyer Ave. in St. Louis for about two decades, has decided to call it quits. The restaurant broke the news of its closing to customers via its Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 21, effective immediately.

A mainstay in the bustling and historic Soulard neighborhood, Soulard Coffee Garden held its own as one of only a few breakfast joints in the area and was known for its crowd-favorite eggs Benedict and breakfast burrito. The restaurant served as a bohemian sanctuary for those in search of a low-key spot to enjoy a good meal and a cup of coffee.
