Ernesto’s Wine Bar in Benton Park has permanently closed

Ernesto’s Wine Bar has permanently closed its doors at 2730 McNair Ave. in Benton Park, according to a Facebook post from April 2. “I have sad news to share that Ernesto’s will not be reopening,” the note read. “Thank you so much for your support and best wishes in the future.”  

The bar had been closed since December, when it shuttered for the winter. Though the owners wrote via Facebook then that they hoped to reopen in the spring, it appears that Ernesto’s will not return. 

The owners were unable to be reached for comment.
