Bomb diggity everytime.

Just tried the lunch today. Got the ribeye paninni, with white cheddar, mayo and arugala.

Good, good stuff.

What a wonderful experience we had at Niche. The atmosphere was wonderful, the server was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and professional and it amazed me how humble Gerard Craft is while being the Executive Chef and Owner of such a fabulous establishment. Our group of four enjoyed every item we ordered and we are looking forward to the next time! Thanks for a great evening! Liz, Rich, Jacki & Enoch

A very nice meal. The chicken liver terrine was remarkably good and the scallop entree was perfectly cooked. The chocolate cake is amazing. Yes, it is very loud and yes, it is on the pricy side (if only by STL standards). My only disappointment: I was hoping for more unusual proteins, more adventurous choices. But a memorable meal nonetheless.

Our overall experience was very good. The food was fine, but I expected it to be even better, the atmosphere very nice-very relaxed, however, the service was lacking. The waiter made us feel uncomfortable and when I asked for a certain bottle of wine on their list, he tried to sell us something more expensive. The highlight of the night and best part of the experience was when Chef Craft actually came out to our table to say hello. We can see why he was chosen "Chef of the Year".

Niche is 4/5 in terms of everything...except for our waitress and the busser get a 0; one scoffed at my mother's mere request for a water glass. I was blown away by the porkbelly, although my kampachi-truffle carpaccio was more like warm fish jerky and the truffles absorbed fishy stank instead of flavor. Had all the desserts, doubt the ice cream is homemade, but the yogurt and shortbread was spectacular, making it okay that the toll-house pie tasted like it came out of the refrige-section. 8.
