The Fix: 2012 Don Q Rums Mix-Off Competition
Ingredients
2 oz. DonQ Añejo rum1 oz. raw simple syrup (made with turbinado sugar)
1 oz. lemon juice
½ oz. aged balsamic vinegar
Dash baked apple bitters
Champagne
Apple chip for garnish
Preparation
• Combine the rum, simple syrup, lemon juice, vinegar and bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a Collins glass filled with ice.
• Top with Champagne and garnish with an apple chip, if desired.
