Historic Downtown Ste. Genevieve 5738837097

Relay of Voices: The Great River Run is a four-month long journey from the headwaters to the mouth of the Mississippi River that will arrive in historic Ste. Genevieve on September 5-6. A “relay” team of six artists, athletes and researchers will move down the river each day, stopping in selected communities along the way, meeting people and looking closely at how people are moved by the river itself and how proximity to water-based natural resources shapes our way of life. Geographic data and cultural narratives will be gathered for future use by scientists, artists, and policy makers. The Relay will arrive in historic Ste. Genevieve on Thursday, September 5, bringing their stories from upriver and making new friends along the way.
