Art on Campus Walking Tour

November 01, midnight

Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum 314.935.5490

Put on your walking shoes for a tour of artworks installed throughout the Danforth Campus as part of the Art on Campus program, led by Leslie Markle, curator for public art. The 90-minute begins at the Kemper Art Museum and will include a stop at the new Florence Steinberg Weil Sculpture Garden to see the latest Art on Campus commission by Dan Graham.

The Art on Campus program is a growing collection of public artworks by nationally and internationally recognized artists. Reflecting the diversity, creativity, and scholarship of the University, these artworks enhance the cultural, intellectual, and visual experience of all who visit as well as those who study and work here. By giving public art a strong presence throughout campus, the program reframes and transforms the environment, provoking consideration of both place and space.

Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for walking. Free and open to the public.
