Juniper to Participate in the James Beard Foundation's Blended Burger Project
Juniper’s executive chef Glenister Wells is bringing his ‘A’ game for the James Beard Foundation's fifth annual Blended Burger Project! From now until July 31, Juniper is making a sustainable difference by serving a more delicious, nutritious and sustainable burger with at least 25% fresh mushrooms. Juniper’s Duxelles and Swiss Burger is made with two-four oz. smashed patties (60% Ozark Forest Mushrooms and 40% Crooked Creek Beef), Kentucky Moon Swiss cheese (Kenny’s Farmhouse Cheese), aioli (using Nashville Hot Oil) and spicy greens dressed in a pickle vinaigrette, all sandwiched between two house-made benne seed buns and served with a side of fries for $15.
