Korean Spring Festival: Contemporary Korean Art - The Intersection of Art and K-POP

The Gateway Korea Foundation is celebrating their annual Dano-Spring Festival by providing a free educational event with a lecture on Korean contemporary art. This year’s Dano Festival will survey the distinctive contemporary Korean art scene as it has developed over the past forty years. A special guest Hyonjeong Kim Han (Associate Curator of Korean Art, the San Francisco Asian Art Museum) will give a lecture on "Korean Contemporary Art - The Intersection of Art and K-POP.” Her lecture will conclude with an open discussion about the influence of traditional and contemporary art on K-pop culture.
