Guerrilla Street Food closes location at Two Plumbers Brewery

The Guerrilla Street Food location inside Two Plumbers Brewery + Arcade at 2236 1st Capitol Drive in St. Charles has closed. The last day of service was Saturday, Nov. 30. The concept opened in January.

GSF co-owner Brian Hardesty said the closure was a simple a matter of economics.

“We were hoping to maintain a certain amount of sales and we just didn’t meet it,” he said. “We ended on the best possible terms with [Two Plumbers]. They’re really great people.”

In an email, Two Plumbers co-owner Robert Schowengerdt said guests are welcome to bring in their own food, and the brewery will also offer frozen pizzas for sale.

“Basically we are going back to how it was before GSF started serving food,” he said. “We have menus for local businesses at the bar and with Door Dash and whatnot, really anything can be delivered.”

Guerrilla Street Food has four other locations in the St. Louis area, as well as the food truck.
