This Donna Laura Ali Toscana IGT wine only looks expensive

The Donna Laura Ali Toscana IGT 2016 looks expensive, but the Tuscan blend of 90 percent Sangiovese and 10 percent cabernet sauvignon couldn’t be more affordable. It’s rare to find so much lovely grapey, black fruit character with soft, easy tannins and a certain “chug-it” quality at such a reasonable price. This unoaked, balanced bottle may be my new home wine. Plan on two glasses, because one won't be enough.

$10. Available at Schnucks in Des Peres
