First Look: Hiro Poke Co. in The Eatery food hall downtown

Hiro Poke Co., the new restaurant from Bernie Lee of Hiro Asian Kitchen in The Eatery food hall at One Metropolitan Square downtown, is slated to have its grand opening on Monday, July 9.

As Sauce reported last month, the Hiro Poke Co. menu is focused on poke, a Hawaiian staple of fresh fish and rice, and features three signature bowls: Aloha STL with tuna and salmon, Go Cards with chicken and Forest Park with tofu. All are available with rice or greens.

There’s also a “poke your way” option available in two sizes, which allows guests to choose what base they want (white rice, brown rice, cauliflower rice or greens) along with a variety of proteins, additional “mix-in” ingredients and toppings. Two types of ramen are also on the menu: tori paitan ramen, featuring a creamy chicken broth, and shoyu vegetable ramen based on a soy veggie broth.

Hiro Poke Co. is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The restaurant offers office catering as well as online ordering.
